Salman Syed
Salman Syed was raised in Southern California. He is an alumni of Palos Verdes High School and Cal State University Northridge (CSUN). He graduated from CSUN in the Spring of 2010 with a B.A. in Film Production with an emphasis in editing. Salman has steadily been working as an assistant editor for the last few years. He spent two years at Pearl Entertainment Inc., a South Asian based Media Company specializing in Bollywood entertainment airing worldwide since 1998, working on Showbiz India TV and Showbiz India Extreme. He left Pearl Entertainment in 2009 to join BASE Productions as an Assistant Editor. BASE is an Emmy Award winning TV Production Company, in charge of such shows as “Sports Science,” “Crime 360”and “Jesse James is a Dead Man.” He recently finished post production on the CSUN Senior Thesis film “Be Good to Eddie Lee,” which is currently in festivals and has already picked up a handful of awards. Salman is currently editing another CSUN Senior Thesis Film, “Giddy Up Grandma!”
Update: Salman left Showbiz India in Spring 2011 and is now working full-time in Hollywood entertainment!
